Programs
MacB develops and delivers education and training programs to organizations
in a wide variety of areas. Additionally, it provides many of its training
programs for delivery use by the client. Most of our programs come with
a leader's guide, and support consultation and "train-the-trainer" training
is available with all purchases. The following programs are available
either for delivery by MacB or in-house staff:
Best Practices Planning, Recruitment, selection, Hiring and Orientation
- A highly interactive, participant- focused program of exercises, role
plays, questionnaires and presentations that provides for a comprehensive
understanding and builds crucial managerial competencies in these vitally
important human resources management functions.
Building Labour-Management Relations I - This is a three day program
on labour relations essentials for line managers, supervisors and union
leaders.
Building Labour-Management Relations II - This is a two-day
program on problem-solving, grievance handling, communications and conflict
resolution techniques for managers and supervisors. It is a companion
course to BLMRI.
Meeting Effectiveness Training Program - This half-day program
is designed to be delivered by in-house facilitators, and is aimed at
improving the efficiency and effectiveness of meetings.
Supervisory Team Meeting Training Program - Designed to
be delivered by in-house facilitators this program is aimed at shop floor
supervisors who want to improve the effectiveness of their team meetings.
Performance Planning, Management and Review Skills Training Modules
- Each of these three-hour modules is designed to accompany the introduction
of PPMR in an organization.
High Performance Work Systems - This 3-day seminar is a
results-focussed workshop aimed to equip line managers, human resources
professionals, union leaders and consultants with the knowledge and skills
needed to implement HRWS in their organization.
Effective Front Line Leadership - this highly experiential
and practical one-week program is designed to provide first line managers
with the essential leadership skills to be effective in their work.
